A catch-all mailbox receives email messages sent to nonexistent addresses under the same domain. For instance, an email sent to the misspelled suport@domain.com will be delivered to support@domain.com in case the catch-all feature has been enabled for the latter. Thus, you can get email messages from pals or clients who may have sent a message to your email address with a spelling mistake or to an out-of-date one, which they may still have, but you have already disabled. Just one mailbox per domain name can be a catch-all one and email forwarding cannot be enabled for such a mailbox. This is so because of the fact that at a certain point you may begin receiving spam messages in the catch-all mailbox and the forwarding restriction implies that the spam will not be delivered to a 3rd-party mailbox.

Catch-all Emails in Web Hosting

You will be able to create a catch-all email mailbox easily in case you have a web hosting plan with our company. The Email Manager tool in our in-house developed Hepsia Control Panel is feature-rich, yet stunningly easy to work with, and it will allow you to enable various options, including the catch-all one, with only a few mouse clicks. All the mailboxes that you have set up will be displayed alphabetically in this section and to the right of each one you will find a tiny "Catch-all" button. Clicking on it once will enable the feature, clicking it twice will deactivate it. Since you can have just one such mailbox per domain, our system will alert you if you already have a different mailbox with this option activated or if you have enabled email forwarding.

Catch-all Emails in Semi-dedicated Servers

A catch-all email address can be created with a few mouse clicks in case you have a semi-dedicated server with our company. The hosting account will be managed through our custom-built Hepsia Control Panel and you’ll be able to create email addresses using any domain hosted there. To activate the catch-all feature for a given mailbox, you’ll need to click the logo with the same name, which will be on the right side of each mailbox. Deactivating this functionality can be accomplished in the very same fashion and will not take more than a click either. In case the catch-all option has already been activated for a particular domain, you will get a warning notice. The same is valid if the mailbox that you wish to be a catch-all one has email forwarding enabled, as our system will never replace or deactivate any feature automatically.
